Personal advocate
For individuals who want their own advocate for personal, property and business matters. Discussing decisions before documents are signed, assessing transaction risks, preparing applications and helping with dealings with others.
Important decisions are easier when you have an advocate you trust who knows your situation.
Personal advocate — a retainer of ₽1,000 per month. We aim to make ongoing legal support more accessible: everyone should be able to protect their rights and legitimate interests. The scope of included assistance is set out in the agreement; individual instructions and expenses are charged separately.
Planeta Zakona Law Bureau of the Moscow Region offers ongoing legal support to individuals, families, entrepreneurs and organisations under retainer agreements.
Consultations, document review and preparation, help with negotiations and assessment of legal consequences: an agreed scope of assistance for a monthly fee.
You agree in advance on the issues covered, the scope of assistance and communication arrangements. The advocate reviews the documents and circumstances, takes earlier decisions into account and helps assess the consequences of the next step. Confidentiality and professional independence remain the foundation of this work.

For families: real estate, inheritance planning, property arrangements and other everyday legal matters. The family members receiving assistance and the scope of support are specified in the agreement or an annex.
Ongoing external legal support for management and the business: contracts, pre-action claims, legal assessment of business decisions and dealings with counterparties. This arrangement covers agreed legal department tasks without employing the advocate as a staff member.
Coordinated work on matters involving several organisations and their owners. The agreement specifies the companies and individuals concerned, the tasks for each, authorised contacts and information-sharing procedures.
Assistance is tailored to your needs and set out in the agreement. The list below gives possible areas of support; it is not a promise of unlimited services.
A regular fee for the scope of support specified in the agreement. The agreement defines the tasks, limits on time or number of instructions, billing period and treatment of unused or exceeded allowances.
Criminal defence, defence in administrative offence proceedings, handling court cases and attending hearings, as well as new matters outside the agreed scope, are charged separately unless the agreement expressly includes them.
The scope, fee and payment arrangements for such instructions are agreed separately in a supplementary or independent agreement.
Travel to meetings, hearings and other events, accommodation on trips, postage, notarial fees and other necessary expenses are not included in the retainer unless the parties expressly agree otherwise.
Procedures for approval, advance payment and substantiation of expenses are set out in the agreement. The advocate’s working time while travelling and transport costs are accounted for separately.
The clients covered. Family members, companies, managers and other recipients of assistance are named in the agreement or an annex. Payment for support by one person does not in itself entitle that person to another’s confidential information.
Communication and urgent matters. Contact channels, availability, response times and arrangements for urgent involvement are agreed in advance. The retainer does not in itself include round-the-clock availability or immediate attendance.
Different interests. When supporting a family or group of companies, we assess whether joint assistance is possible. If interests diverge, representation is determined in accordance with the rules on conflicts of interest and advocate–client privilege.
Independent professional status. An advocate supports a company under a legal assistance agreement. The work may fulfil the functions of an external legal department while preserving the advocate’s independence.
At the first meeting, we will identify who needs assistance, which issues arise regularly and which should be treated as separate instructions. We will then agree the scope of support, fees and working arrangements.
